Little Idea hosting the Mompreneur's Margarita Mixer at The Boulevard in South End

CHARLOTTE, NC, May 29, 2012 – Hey, are you a mom in Charlotte? Looking to start your own business or already have your own business? Well, if so, you'll know more than anyone that finding a support group and networking as a mompreneur can be even more difficult than regular networking, especially if you have small children! When summer break rolls around, it's all but impossible to make regular networking meetings to share secrets and tips, isn't it? It's hard just to hang out with like-minded women at all! Not to mention mompreneur groups in Charlotte, NC are limited and their needs are slightly different than the typical entrepreneur. This group of strong, hard-working women is growing, leaving behind a desperate need for mompreneur socializing.

Even if the list of mompreneur-targeted events for this summer isn't that long, there's one you definitely don't want to miss out on! And that's the Mompreneur's Margarita Mixer at The Boulevard. Located in South End, one of the to-go areas for creatives and artists alike, The Boulevard is a nestled treasure of locally made items and the perfect place to find Charlotte artisans.

The Mompreneur's Margarita Mixer is all about socializing, showing what you got, and sampling some delicious margaritas and snack food, all on us of course! Several super cool ladies will be there showcasing samples of their products, including pre-mom mompreneurs Carly Gardner of Leap of Faith clothing with her superhero kits for kids to color their own capes (so they'll be entertained too, moms!) and Betsy Hauser of FlexiRuggz, the washable, modular rug system that's perfect for nurseries and kids' rooms! Anyone is welcome to come check it out – and you can bring your little ones along too.
