Little Idea hosting the Mompreneur's Margarita Mixer at The Boulevard in South End
Hey, are you a mom in Charlotte? Looking to start your own business or already have your own business? Well, if so, you'll know more than anyone that finding a support group and networking as a mompreneur can be even more difficult than regular networking, especially if you have small children! When summer break rolls around, it's all but impossible to make regular networking meetings to share secrets and tips, isn't it? It's hard just to hang out with like-minded women at all! Not to mention mompreneur groups in Charlotte, NC are limited and their needs are slightly different than the typical entrepreneur. This group of strong, hard-working women is growing, leaving behind a desperate need for mompreneur socializing.
A New Breed of Business Women Prep for Future Plans of “Mompreneurship”
The thought of potentially juggling motherhood and a belligerent economy is a daunting challenge yet more and more women are turning to entrepreneurship in efforts to solidify their career aspirations and financial futures in preparation for children and marriage. Foresight and business savvy has engendered a new breed of business women, the Pre-Mom Mompreneurs. These ladies are actively striving to grow their entrepreneurial endeavors before they say “I do.” Essentially they are laying the groundwork to earn competitive salaries and focus on their future families without the constraints of a standard 9-5 job or the stress of starting a new company.

Chariots of Freedom in Kernersville Magazine
Over the past several months, we've been working with a local charity in North Carolina called Chariots of Freedom, which allows special needs kids to participate in triathlons and bike races by pairing them up with an athlete who can push and pull them in a "chariot." They've been gaining a lot of traction recently and had an article written about them in Kernersville Magazine! Check it out and learn more about them on the Chariots of Freedom Facebook page!

The DNC may be over but that doesn't mean you can't see our presentation on The Elk! Not only was the presentation streamed live on ustream.tv, an online hub for video and channels that gets over a million hits a day, but the video was also recorded and posted. You can check it out here!

You've been hearing about it for weeks now, and we have some more info for you!
